Martins Bakery was founded in 1922.
Now in the 3rd generation, Martins Bakers and Sandwich makers have 28 shops in the Manchester Area.
The central bakery in Newton Heath, Manchester is 50,000sq/ft.
It produces 200 fresh bakery & lunchtime products daily and was awarded "Sandwich of the Year 2005" by the British Sandwich Association and was highly commended in the Craft Business of the Year at the Baking Industry Awards, 2004.
Most recently at the Sammies Awards, in London. Martins was awarded The Bakery Sandwich Shop of the Year 2010.
